Which face swap tool should you use?

Tips for a natural-looking swap
Most face swaps that look wrong fail for the same few reasons. A little care with the input photos fixes nearly all of them.
- Match the angle. A face looking straight at the camera fits best on a target that also faces the camera. A profile face on a frontal target will look odd.
- Use sharp, well-lit faces. Blurry, tiny or dark faces give the AI too little to work with. If your source photo is old or soft, run it through AI Image Unblur or AI Photo Restoration first.
- Keep the face uncovered. Sunglasses, hands, masks and heavy hair over the eyes reduce the likeness.
- One clear face in the target. The photo tool is built for one person. For group shots, use Multiple Face Swap so you control who gets which face.
- Convert iPhone photos. HEIC files are not accepted here. Convert them to JPG with the free HEIC converter.

If the person in the photo would be upset to see the result, do not make it, and label swapped images when people might take them as real.

Can I try face swap for free?
Yes. Every signed-in user gets one free generation a day on AI tools priced $0.10 or less, and this tool qualifies. The free swap does not stack or roll over to the next day. After that, each swap costs $0.10.
Is this face swap online, or do I need an app?
It runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. There is nothing to install; you only need to sign in with Google so your results and balance are saved.
Does the result have a watermark?

What happens if a swap fails?

Is it legal to swap someone else's face?
Only use faces you have permission to use. Never use a swap to deceive, harass, impersonate or sexualize anyone. Laws on likeness and deepfakes differ by country, so check the rules where you live before publishing.
Can I face swap on my phone?
Yes. The tool works in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android. Pick photos from your camera roll; if an iPhone photo is HEIC, convert it with the free HEIC converter first.
Can I swap two people with each other?
