AI Music Generator

Press play to hear a real result.

The RegiAI AI music generator creates a complete song from a short description of the style and mood. Describe the genre, instruments and vocals, paste your own lyrics or let the AI write them, or switch to instrumental for background music. A song usually takes about two minutes and downloads as an MP3.

Each song costs $0.40, pay per use with no subscription, and a failed song is refunded automatically. Use it as an AI song generator for birthdays and jingles, or for music under videos made with the AI Video Generator. For short sounds instead of music, try the Sound Effect Generator.

How to write a prompt that sounds like what you hear in your head

The prompt field (up to 2,000 characters) sets the sound. The more concrete it is, the closer the result. A good prompt names four things:

  • Genre and era: "90s R&B", "synth-pop", "epic orchestral trailer", "lo-fi hip hop".
  • Mood and tempo: "upbeat summer road trip", "slow and melancholic", "driving and energetic".
  • Instruments: "acoustic guitar and soft piano", "heavy 808 bass", "string section and choir".
  • Vocals: "female vocals", "deep male voice", "duet", or turn on Instrumental for none.

Avoid naming real artists; describe their sound instead. If the first take is close but not right, change one element at a time, such as the tempo or the instruments, so you can hear what each change does.

Some example prompts that work well: "Lo-fi hip hop beat for studying, calm, vinyl crackle, soft piano chords"; "Epic orchestral trailer music, building tension, big drums, choir at the climax"; "Upbeat country pop, acoustic guitar and banjo, female vocals, about a road trip with friends"; "Dark synthwave, 80s drum machine, instrumental, night drive". Start from one of these and change the details to fit your project.

Lyrics: yours or AI-written

You have three options. Paste your own lyrics (up to 3,000 characters) and mark sections with tags like [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge] so the song is structured the way you intend. Leave lyrics empty and the AI writes lyrics that fit your prompt. Or turn on Instrumental for music with no vocals at all.

Song length follows the lyrics. A verse and a chorus give a short song; two verses, a chorus and a bridge give a fuller track, typically one to three minutes. Write lyrics in the language you want sung.

Want the vocals or the backing track on their own? Run the finished MP3 through the AI Vocal Remover to split it into an acapella and an instrumental, for example to make a karaoke version.

A few lyric tips: keep lines short and rhythmic, repeat the chorus word for word each time it appears, and avoid very long verses that are hard to sing. If a line keeps getting rushed or dropped, split it into two shorter lines. Names and unusual words are sung more clearly when spelled the way they sound.

Price, rights and related tools

Every song is a flat $0.40, whatever the style or length. There is no subscription and no monthly quota: add credit from $10 and spend it on any tool. If generation fails, the $0.40 goes back to your balance. Because the price is above $0.10, the daily free generation does not apply to this tool.

You can use results under our Terms of Service and the model provider's license. RegiAI does not add a watermark or audio tag. Songs are saved in My creations for 30 days.

To build a full video, pair your track with a voiceover from the AI Voice Generator, sound effects from the Sound Effect Generator, and footage from Text to Video.

Because each song is a separate generation, it is normal to make two or three versions of the same idea and keep the best one. Changing only the prompt while keeping the same lyrics is a quick way to hear your song in different genres, for example as a ballad and then as an upbeat pop track.

AI Music Generator FAQ

Still stuck? Contact us.

How much does the AI music generator cost?

$0.40 per song, paid from your balance. There is no subscription. See pricing for credit packs from $10.

Is there a free AI music generator option?

Not for this tool. The daily free generation only covers tools priced $0.10 or less, and songs cost $0.40. You only pay for songs that finish; failed ones are refunded.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign in with Google to create songs. There is no subscription; you add credit from $10 and each song uses $0.40 of it.

Can it make songs with vocals?

Yes. By default it sings, using your lyrics or lyrics it writes itself. Describe the voice you want in the prompt, such as "female vocals", "raspy male voice" or "soft duet", and the style of singing, such as "powerful" or "breathy".

Can I make instrumental music only?

Yes. Turn on Instrumental (no vocals) and describe the style. It is ideal for background music under videos, podcasts and presentations, where lyrics would compete with speech.

How long are the songs?

Length follows the lyrics, typically 1 to 3 minutes. Add more verses for a longer song.

Can I turn my lyrics into a song?

Yes. Paste up to 3,000 characters of lyrics and tag the sections with [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge] for a clear structure.

Which languages can it sing in?

Write the lyrics in the language you want. Results are strongest in widely spoken languages such as English.

What format is the download?

An MP3 file, ready for video editors, social apps and music players. Songs are also saved in My creations on your dashboard for 30 days.

Can I use the music on YouTube or in ads?

You can use results under our Terms of Service and the model provider's license. Check both for your specific use.

Can I separate the vocals from the music?

Yes. Upload the song to the AI Vocal Remover and keep either the instrumental or the vocals.

Why does a song take about two minutes?

The model composes the arrangement, the vocals and the mix of a full track. You can leave the page open while it works.

Can I choose the tempo or key?

There are no separate tempo or key controls. Describe them in the prompt instead, such as "slow ballad around 70 BPM" or "fast, energetic tempo". The model treats these as guidance.

Can I make a song in the style of a famous artist?

Describe the sound instead of naming the artist: the genre, era, instruments and vocal style. That gives better results and avoids imitating a real person.

Is there an API?

Yes. The music generator is available through the RegiAI API at the same $0.40 per song.
